Custom-made concrete facades

In early February 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony was held at the Examination House in Lisbjerg. DS Flexhal is the turnkey constructor for the 11 examination rooms, constructed for FEAS Erhverv P/S. The project has been developed in close collaboration with P+P architects and the client. The office building consists of 11 examination rooms with a total area of 7,073 square meters. Each room is 400 square meters with space for 100 examination seats, as well as a smaller number of examination rooms for students with individual needs. Additionally, there will be welfare facilities for service functions, staff offices, toilets, storage, cleaning rooms and a flexible hall.

Custom-made facade elements

A prominent design element in the project is the facades, which are custom-made and cast by our sister company, DS Elcobyg A/S, in smooth gray concrete, with varying depths in the element and inward-curving arches in the corners. The facades are also constructed with future-proof flexibility, allowing for the addition of more windows if the need for alternative building layouts arises.

FEAS, P+P architects, Aarhus Kommune, DS Elcobyg, and DS Flexhal have all been involved in the entire design process, and the architecturally stunning façade elements have been developed collaboratively.

The construction is expected to be completed in February 2025.
